Rückenwind e-bike grant
Get €50 towards a new e-bike if you are an adult EVH electricity or gas customer living in Germany.

Rückenwind supports new bicycles with electric pedal assistance, including pedelecs. Your bicycle must cost at least €500 excluding shipping and delivery charges and must have been purchased between 1 January and 31 December 2026.
EVH pays €50 per qualifying bicycle by bank transfer, with at most two grants per household per calendar year. Payments are made monthly, no later than six weeks after application, once the conditions are met and the required information is complete.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18, live in Germany and have an existing electricity or gas supply contract with EVH. EVH may request valid identification to verify your age.
- The grant must benefit the household linked to the customer number you provide.
- Submit complete, accurate information and accept the participation terms. False personal information or manipulation can lead to exclusion and the grant being withdrawn and reclaimed. Participation through third parties or under different addresses can also lead to exclusion.
Funding depends on the remaining annual budget and the order applications arrive. Participation creates no entitlement to support. EVH may end the campaign without notice if technical or legal reasons prevent it from running properly.

Buy your qualifying e-bike and keep the invoice. Complete the participation form on the EVH Rückenwind page and upload the invoice as a PDF or image, or submit the completed form with your invoice at the Stadtwerke customer centre. Accept the participation terms and provide complete bank details for the transfer.
Participation is free. Apply during the 2026 application window before funds run out.
