Residential appliance rebates
Electric-account credits of $25 or $50 help residential members replace standard appliances with eligible ENERGY STAR models.

Replace a clothes washer, electric dryer or dehumidifier for a $25 credit, or a refrigerator or freezer for a $50 credit. Refrigerator and freezer capacity must be at least 15 cubic feet. Crow Wing Power credits the rebate to your electric account.
This entry covers the appliance replacement route within the cooperative’s residential energy-efficiency rebates.
Eligibility
- You must have a valid Crow Wing Power account, and the appliance must be installed at a home supplied with electricity by the cooperative. Its service area covers Cass, Crow Wing and Morrison Counties in central Minnesota.
- Buy a new appliance that qualifies as a replacement for an existing standard residential appliance. The new product must be on the current ENERGY STAR list on its purchase date; this is the energy-efficiency certification required for the rebate.
- Permanently remove the old appliance from service. Proper recycling is recommended.
- There is a limit of one rebate per member account.
- The current form covers eligible purchases on or after January 1, 2026.

- Submit the dated receipt within 90 days of purchase.[^c6]
Submit Crow Wing Power’s 2026 appliance claim form online. Select your appliance, enter your member account, installation address and equipment details, and upload the dated sales receipt within 90 days of purchase.
Alternatively, complete the downloadable form offered on the rebates page and mail it with your receipt to Crow Wing Power, PO Box 507, Brainerd MN 56401.
