ETF PartnersEuropa

Equity investment for growing technology companies across Europe that can deliver significant, measurable environmental impact, including climate solutions in energy and mobility.

Beskrivningen av den här finansieringen finns för närvarande på engelska.

ETF Partners provides venture capital to private companies: the business receives investment in exchange for company ownership. The manager focuses on technology that can achieve substantial environmental impact as the business grows.

Its five investment areas are energy transition, future mobility, green connectivity, responsible consumption and sustainable food. This entry covers the climate-relevant part of that broader strategy, including technologies that reduce emissions or help adapt to climate change.

The manager targets companies across Europe with rapidly growing revenue or the potential for large-scale commercial success. Fund 4 has more specific binding selection criteria: the company must already demonstrate commercial success and strong growth, alongside an innovative product or service and a durable competitive advantage—a reason customers will continue to choose it over competitors.

Eligibility

For Fund 4, a private company must fit at least one of the five investment areas and meet all the commercial, growth, innovation and competitive-advantage criteria. Applicants should be able to show an operating business with evidence of market success and growth.

The investment must have the potential for significant, measurable environmental impact. The team assesses whether it could significantly harm other environmental objectives and whether that harm can be addressed while ETF owns its stake; it may require changes in company practices or decline the investment.

On accepting an ETF term sheet—a document setting out the proposed investment terms—companies commit to best-effort policies to achieve net neutrality within the following 12 months—aiming for no net emissions contribution—and to put environmental, social and governance oversight and reporting in place in a form acceptable to the investor. Environmental impact objectives and reporting are included in the investment terms.
