Green Loan

New Ross Credit UnionIrland

Borrow for work that improves your home’s energy rating or reduces your carbon footprint, if you qualify for local credit-union membership.

Beskrivningen av den här finansieringen finns för närvarande på engelska.

New Ross Credit Union lends money for qualifying work, which you repay with interest over the loan term. You must show that you can afford those repayments throughout the term.

The product has no hidden fees or penalties for early repayment. It does not qualify for an interest rebate if one is proposed at the annual general meeting. Missed repayments put your account into arrears and may damage your credit rating and future access to borrowing.

Eligibility

You must be a member and live or work within the credit union’s common-bond area:

  • New Ross urban area; the parishes of New Ross, Cushinstown, Horeswood, Ramsgrange, Duncannon, Templetown and Ballycullane; within six miles of Templeudigan Catholic Church; or the dual-service Glenmore area.
  • Bunclody town or the electoral divisions of Cranemore, Ballindaggan, Castledockrell, Kilrush, Kiltealy, Moyacomb, Newtownbarry, Rossard, St Mary’s and Tombrack.

Your work must improve your home’s energy rating or reduce your carbon footprint. The lender requires proof of the works and checks your ability to repay, including interest.
