Home energy renovation grants
Owners of homes in Niederanven can receive a municipal top-up of 50% of their qualifying national energy-renovation grant, subject to building-level caps.

The renovation grant covers insulation of external walls, roofs, walls against the ground or unheated spaces, and upper or lower floor slabs adjoining unheated spaces or the ground. Windows, glazed doors and ventilation with heat recovery are also included.
The municipality pays 50% of the qualifying national grant, including its bonuses. The municipal award is capped at €12,000 per single-family house or €24,000 per apartment building. Combined national and municipal aid cannot exceed the actual costs of the subsidised elements; the municipal award is reduced if necessary.
Eligibility
You must own a dwelling in Niederanven and already have a national award under the amended law of 23 December 2016. This entry covers renovation measures awarded under the former Klimabonus rules of 7 April 2022; the same measures must meet those rules and Annexes I and II. The national guide confirms that the former scheme continues for energy assessments conducted before 31 December 2025 where approval in principle was requested by that date.
Awards depend on the available annual municipal budget. By applying, you agree to on-site checks and must provide additional supporting evidence if requested. Inaccurate or incomplete declarations lead to refusal or recovery of amounts wrongly paid. Grants obtained through false declarations or an administrative error must also be repaid.

After the works and services are complete and the national grant has been awarded, apply to the Municipality of Niederanven using its linked municipal application form. Submit the completed, signed form and an official document confirming the amount of the qualifying national award.
Your right to claim expires one year from 31 December of the year in which the national grant was awarded. For example, a national award made in 2025 gives a municipal filing deadline of 31 December 2026; an award made in 2026 gives a deadline of 31 December 2027.
