Business Green Loan

ANZ New ZealandNya Zeeland5 tn NZD och uppåt

Loans for ANZ Business customers investing in qualifying solar systems, energy-saving equipment or cleaner transport, with special floating pricing on up to NZD 3 million per entity.

Beskrivningen av den här finansieringen finns för närvarande på engelska.

You can finance new eligible business projects or refinance projects completed within 24 months of signing your application. Examples include solar systems with batteries, insulation, glazing, LED lighting, efficient refrigeration and heat pumps, electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, electric mobile machinery and charging points.

Loans start at NZD 5,000. You can have more than one green loan, with the special floating rate applying to up to NZD 3 million in total per entity. Larger amounts are documented separately at standard interest rates. ANZ waives the loan approval fee for the first NZD 3 million of green lending per customer; other fees may apply. The standard business term-loan approval fee is 1% of the loan amount, with a NZD 250 minimum. Your agreement sets the fees and interest rate for your loan.

You repay the money borrowed plus interest over a maximum of five years, with payments covering both principal and interest. The floating rate can rise or fall and change your repayments. Repayments must use an ANZ transaction account.

ANZ releases funds once the conditions in your loan agreement are met. Unless ANZ agrees to instalments, you must take the full loan amount on the agreed drawdown date; ANZ may cancel it if you do not. You can repay some or all early, paying interest through the repayment day; ANZ may set a minimum partial repayment. The general terms provide for early repayment recovery charges for fixed or wholesale-market BKBM rates under their stated triggers.

Security is something ANZ can use to recover money you owe if you break your loan agreement. For example, a mortgage lets ANZ sell the property to repay the debt. A guarantee is a promise to pay a borrower's debt if they break their loan agreement. Any security you give ANZ normally also covers existing and future loans, and new security also covers guarantees you give, unless the loan or facility summary says otherwise. If you fail to comply with the green loan terms, ANZ may remove the loan's green status and its pricing benefit.

Eligibility

  • You must be an ANZ Business customer. ANZ checks lending and green eligibility criteria and may decline even an application that meets the environmental criteria.
  • Your project must demonstrate clear environmental benefits. Renewable and clean-transport projects with material greenhouse-gas increases or other environmental harms that ANZ considers greater than their benefits are excluded. Energy-efficiency products must not rely directly on fossil fuels; ANZ also excludes efficiency projects where material nutrient losses, emissions or other environmental harm outweigh the benefits.
  • Solar applications must identify a SEANZ- or Solassure-registered installer and their registration number, system capacity and any battery capacity. For chillers, refrigerated cabinets and heating/air-conditioning equipment, provide efficiency data showing compliance with applicable New Zealand minimum energy performance standards at manufacture or installation. If the specified efficiency metric is unavailable, you can use an equivalent manufacturer's rating or recognised industry standard showing comparable or better performance, provided ANZ accepts it.
  • Clean-transport products used predominantly for personal purposes are excluded. Provide the product type, make and model, or charging capacity as applicable. The additional consulting, planning, consenting, site-preparation, labour, on-road and freight costs listed for this category specifically relate to charging-point installation. Renewable and efficiency categories can include qualifying purchase and related project costs such as installation, consulting, labour and freight.
  • Provide evidence of eligible costs or debt to be refinanced, using invoices in your business name or quantity-surveyor/engineer reports acceptable to ANZ, before funds are released or before each agreed instalment. Meet all agreement conditions before drawing funds.
  • For a new project, provide the required completion evidence within 90 days after completion. For a completed project, include it with your application and demonstrate completion within the preceding 24 months.
  • Tell ANZ if completion is delayed and provide progress evidence and the revised date. If completion will be more than six months after the first drawdown, supply progress evidence within 30 days of that six-month anniversary and each six months thereafter. Tell ANZ if financed assets are sold, damaged or stop operating, and provide evidence of continued ownership when requested.
