PowerUp Lending Program

Go Energy Credit UnionGeorgia500–25 tn USD

Loans for Go Energy members to improve home energy efficiency, install solar panels or add home EV charging, without needing home equity.

Beskrivningen av den här finansieringen finns för närvarande på engelska.

Finance home upgrades such as efficient heating and cooling, water heaters, insulation, air and duct sealing, windows, doors, roofing, ENERGY STAR appliances and lighting. The energy-upgrade route covers improvements that save energy and improve performance. The wider PowerUp programme also finances solar panels, home electric-vehicle chargers and standby generators for backup power.

You can borrow $500–$25,000 and repay the loan over a term of up to 60 months. Go Energy pays the contractor directly after the project is completed. Rates and terms are tailored to your budget.

Go Energy publishes general loan fees of $10 for amounts below $1,000.01, $25 for $1,000.01–$5,000, $100 for $5,000.01–$10,000 and $150 for $10,000.01–$25,000.

Although home equity is not required, your credit-union deposits can secure debts you owe Go Energy. The membership agreement excludes IRA and Keogh retirement accounts, tax escrow accounts, and irrevocable trust or fiduciary accounts in which you have no vested ownership interest from its deposit pledge. If you default or fail to pay an obligation, Go Energy can use covered deposits to pay it without notice.

If you are overdue as a borrower, co-borrower or guarantor, you need the credit union’s written permission to withdraw deposits below the amount you owe. For deposits pledged to a loan, you must repay the loan or renew it with Go Energy’s permission before withdrawing the deposited money or the earnings Go Energy pays on it; renewal may require keeping those funds on deposit until repayment or release.

For active military members and dependents entitled to Military Lending Act protections, any conflicting terms in the membership agreement are void while those protections apply.
