Energy and mobility grant
A €200 grant for existing and new stm energy customers installing a heat pump in a building in the Meerbusch supply area.

The heat-pump route within the energy and mobility programme supports a new heat pump that provides the building’s heat without another heat generator (a monovalent system). It covers residential and nonresidential buildings. Split air-conditioning units are excluded.
The heat-pump grant is €200. Stadtwerke Meerbusch checks eligibility and awards support within the available budget; there is no legal entitlement.
Eligibility
- You must be an stm customer supplied with your complete energy needs, or a new customer. Taking the grant commits you to two years of complete energy supply from stm.
- The building must be in the Stadtwerke Meerbusch supply area and within the Meerbusch catchment area.
- Apply before ordering or carrying out the measure. A licensed specialist contractor must install the new heating system.
- Only one grant per property can be claimed in a year.
- You must repay the grant if stm does not supply the heat pump continuously for at least 24 months from commissioning.

- The support period is 1 January–31 December 2026, subject to earlier budget exhaustion. Apply before ordering or implementing the measure. Existing and new eligible customers can use the live funding form.[^c4][^c6][^c7][^c17]
Use the Stadtwerke Meerbusch online funding form and select “Förderung für Wärmepumpe”. Submit all required information and documents before ordering or implementing the measure. The form asks for your project and building details; an installer’s offer that is not yet available can be submitted later. Accept the applicable funding conditions in the form.
The 2026 support period runs until 31 December, or ends earlier if the funding budget is exhausted. New customers can apply through the same form.
