Green business leasing
Businesses can lease electric vehicles, solar parks and battery storage with a lower leasing fee.

Handelsbanken buys the vehicle or equipment and rents it to your business. You pay a monthly leasing fee rather than buying the asset yourself.
The fee depends on the size of the investment and the lease period. It is linked to Stibor, the interest-rate reference used for the fee. The period follows the asset’s economic useful life and is usually three to seven years.
You pay VAT on the leasing fee. The bank says this VAT is generally fully deductible, with a normal deduction of 50% for passenger cars.

Contact your Handelsbanken branch to arrange green leasing. If you are already a customer, start by submitting a credit application in the Internet bank; your branch will contact you to discuss the financing. If you are a new customer, contact your nearest branch to book a meeting.
Choose the asset and agree terms with the supplier. Then sign a financing agreement with Handelsbanken, which orders the asset for you. Monthly invoicing in arrears starts after you have received and accepted delivery.
