Energy grants
Households in Illnau-Effretikon can receive 25% of the purchase price, up to CHF 300, when replacing an appliance with an energy-efficient model listed on Topten.
This route within the municipal energy programme helps households replace appliances with energy-efficient models. The city pays a grant towards the purchase price: 25%, capped at CHF 300 per device. Each household can receive support for one device per year.
Funding is available while the programme budget lasts. An award is discretionary; there is no automatic entitlement.
Eligibility
- The programme is for residents, property owners and local businesses in Illnau-Effretikon. This entry covers the household appliance-replacement route for use in the city.
- The replacement appliance must be listed on topten.ch. Initial equipment for a new building does not qualify.
- You must not claim EKZ support for the appliance. The city funds at most one device per household per year.
- Measures that are legally required cannot receive a grant. An award remains valid for one year from its date; if the measure is carried out later, the award lapses.
