How we handle your information

Visits and statistics

Climate Funding Guide does not create advertising profiles. Cloudflare may process technical data about your visit to operate and protect the site. We use aggregate statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is designed with privacy in mind, to understand how the site is used and how it performs.

Search

Algolia provides the search function. Search queries, filter choices and clicks on results may be saved as aggregate statistics to improve results. We do not use this information to build personal profiles.

Corrections and suggestions

When you use a form, we store the information you submit with Cloudflare so we can handle your suggestion or correction. Providing an email address is optional. We remove it when the item is resolved, rejected or marked as spam. It should be deleted no later than 90 days after the item is resolved.

We use Turnstile to prevent automated abuse. To limit the number of submissions, we save a daily one-way hash of your IP address alongside your message. This is a code calculated from the IP address. Our application does not store the IP address itself.

Your choices

Your country and language choices are saved in cookies for up to one year and in your browser’s local storage. When you visit the site’s main address, we use the saved choices to select the language and country or region. If you have not saved a country, we use Cloudflare’s estimate of your location. Direct links open in the language and country or region specified in the link. You can remove your saved choices by clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser.
