Energy grant top-up

Gemeinde Vaz/ObervazSwitzerlandup to 30k CHF

An additional municipal grant for energy-efficiency and renewable-energy projects in Vaz/Obervaz that already have a qualifying grant award from Graubünden.

The municipality adds 10% of the grant awarded by the canton under the Graubünden Energy Act, up to CHF 30,000 per project. This is calculated on the cantonal grant, rather than on your total investment. All public contributions together must stay within 50% of the project expenditure.

The programme supports energy-efficiency and renewable-energy investments. Depending on the qualifying cantonal award, examples include insulation, renewable heating and solar installations.

Eligibility

  • Your project must be within the municipality of Vaz/Obervaz and have been awarded a grant by Graubünden under its Energy Act.
  • Pilot and demonstration installations and studies are excluded from this municipal top-up.
  • The programme applies to projects from 1 January 2026. Submit your municipal application before construction starts and within 90 days of the canton’s grant commitment.
  • Applications are considered in the order received. If the annual allocation is exceeded, applications go onto a waiting list. There is no entitlement to funding, and the municipal executive may adjust the level of support once a year.
