Grants for Denzlingen residents joining carsharing and for rainwater storage at homes in Denzlingen.

The municipality’s Klimaschutz-Förderprogramm includes support for shared transport and adapting private gardens to drought. The routes described here cover a one-off carsharing registration fee, reimbursed up to €60, and rainwater storage for garden irrigation, funded at €200 per cubic metre of capacity up to €800.
The rainwater tank must hold at least 2 m³. It may be above or below ground, and its overflow must drain to the sewer or an infiltration area where water can soak into the ground. Each eligible property can receive this support only once.
Eligibility
- For carsharing, you must hold a driving licence and be registered in Denzlingen.
- For the rainwater route described here, you must own or co-own a single-family or multi-family house in Denzlingen, or act as an authorized administrator for a condominium owners’ association. Private individuals and private-law legal entities can qualify through the property rules.
- You must not have applied for or received a federal or Baden-Württemberg subsidy for the same project, and you must not apply for further public support for it later. The same measure cannot receive a second municipal grant.
Awards are voluntary, with no legal entitlement. Complete applications are considered in arrival order while funds remain; the municipality can stop awards if its financial position changes substantially. If it suspects misuse, it can limit the combined grant per applicant, household or condominium owners’ association.
Keep supporting documents for five years. The municipality may inspect the project and obtain information from authorities to check eligibility and compliance. It may revoke all or part of an award for noncompliant work or incomplete or incorrect information. False information also makes you liable for checking and processing costs; recovery and interest follow the applicable administrative law. The rainwater form additionally requires repayment of wrongly received grants and permits revocation if required evidence arrives late.

- Complete applications and evidence must arrive within six months after the measure and by 15 December 2026. Awards follow complete-application arrival order and depend on remaining budget.
Apply to Gemeinde Denzlingen through the relevant online form after registering for carsharing or installing the rainwater tank. Paper and email applications are not accepted. Submit your complete application and evidence within six months of the registration or installation, and no later than the current annual deadline. Funding cannot be reserved.
For carsharing, upload your registration confirmation and proof of payment. For rainwater storage, upload the invoice showing capacity, proof of payment and a photo of the tank; enter the installation date, property details and overflow arrangement in the form.
