Housing energy and renewable-energy grants
Municipal grants for Sandweiler residents with an analogous state award for housing energy improvements or renewable-energy installations.

The municipality adds 30% of the grant committed by Luxembourg’s state authorities, up to €7,200 per installation and site. The percentage applies to the state grant, rather than the cost of your works. Awards depend on available municipal budget.
Eligibility
You must be a Sandweiler resident with an analogous state grant already awarded for a qualifying housing-energy installation or work in the municipality. The installation must fall under the applicable Grand-Ducal regulation for rational energy use and renewable energy in housing.
- Claim the municipal grant within one year of the date on the state’s commitment letter.
- Only one municipal grant is allowed per installation and site.
- Provide any further evidence the municipality requests. The grant must be repaid if obtained through false declarations, inaccurate information or an administrative error.

- Apply within one year of the state commitment letter. An analogous state award and proof of state payment are required. Available municipal budget limits awards.
Complete the municipal housing-energy grant form and send it with supporting documents to the collège échevinal, the municipality’s executive board, at Administration communale de Sandweiler, 18 rue Principale, BP 11, L-5240 Sandweiler.
