Business solar-panel loan
Finance up to 80% of a solar-panel investment for your business, with loans up to MDL 1.5 million offered without pledging physical assets.
Tämän rahoitusmahdollisuuden kuvaus on toistaiseksi englanniksi.
Install a photovoltaic system to provide electricity for your business. MAIB lends you the money after you sign the credit contract; you repay the loan with interest in monthly instalments, which can be equal, decreasing or individually arranged.
The loan covers up to 80% of the investment value, so the remainder must come from other funding. The product offers terms up to 60 months, or up to 84 months depending on the project. The bank’s ordinary investment-loan disclosure gives a minimum term of six months. A grace period can postpone principal repayments for up to 12 months and interest payments for up to three months; these are payment deferrals, not a grant or interest waiver.
MAIB sets your interest and related fees individually based on your financial profile. Its ordinary investment loans use a variable interest rate, made up of a benchmark that can change plus a fixed part. The standard investment-loan origination fee is 1.5% of the loan amount, or 0% where the loan is granted for refinancing. Review the price and payment schedule in your offer before signing.
The bank’s disclosure effective 1 October 2026 lists annual variable interest bands for ordinary investment loans: 9.14%–15.54% in MDL, 6.94%–14.16% in USD and 6.11%–13.61% in EUR. The listed 9.14% MDL lower bound applies to loan amounts of at most MDL 5 million. Your solar-loan price is set individually.
The standard fee for voluntary early repayment is 1% of the amount repaid early; agricultural producers are exempt. If another bank or financial institution refinances the loan, the fee is 2% of the amount repaid early. That refinancing charge has an exemption for loans funded from international financial institutions; this entry covers the ordinary solar loan. The tariff also lists 2% of the extended or renegotiated loan amount for an extension or renegotiation, and 0.25% of the outstanding loan for changing contractual terms, including the payment schedule.
Missing agreed principal or interest payments increases the interest rate by three percentage points. If you borrow in a foreign currency and repay in Moldovan lei, the lei payment changes with the exchange rate, and conversion uses the bank’s commercial rate on the repayment date.
Eligibility
You can apply if you own an SRL company (a limited liability company) or operate as an individual entrepreneur.
Loans up to MDL 1.5 million are offered without pledging physical assets. This does not mean there is no security: the bank’s ordinary lending conditions require a pledge over rights to money in bank accounts and, where applicable, a guarantor. Loans secured by physical assets require a pledge over movable or immovable property as well as those account rights.
For the electronic application, you must declare that neither you nor the business is involved in litigation that could negatively affect business prospects or financial position. Supply the administrator’s and founders’ identity cards, the company’s formation documents and other legal or financial information the bank requests.
