Home insulation grant

Gemeente WestervoortAlankomaatenintään 1,5 t. EUR

Owner-occupiers in Westervoort can receive up to €1,460 per home towards professional floor insulation in a poorly insulated home.

Tämän rahoitusmahdollisuuden kuvaus on toistaiseksi englanniksi.

This entry covers a contractor insulating an existing floor in 2026 under Lokale Aanpak Isolatie. The work must reduce the home’s heat demand and be physically fixed to the building.

The municipal contribution is at most €1,460 for the whole dwelling. It cannot exceed the actual eligible costs remaining after other subsidies requested or awarded for the same work. Applications are considered in order of receipt until the municipal budget is used up.

With the municipal selected-company route, the subsidy reduces your invoice directly. If you use your own contractor, you can claim after the work and receive the contribution in your bank account.

Eligibility

  • You must privately own and live in the home, which must be in Westervoort. It must have been occupied before renovation and be registered with a residential use in the Dutch address and buildings register (BAG). This individual route covers homes outside a homeowners’ association (VvE); a VvE must apply collectively through its board.
  • The standard route requires a WOZ property value of no more than €477,000, assessed at 1 January 2022. The home must have energy label D, E, F or G, or an equivalent condition with at least two poorly insulated components: floor/subfloor, facade/cavity wall, roof/attic floor, or windows.
  • The ordinance identifies poor insulation as follows: a pitched or flat roof with less than 9 cm of insulation or an Rc value of at most 2.0; an uninsulated attic floor used instead of roof insulation (Rc at most 0.5); a facade without cavity-wall, internal lining or external insulation (Rc at most 1.1); absent or poor floor/subfloor insulation (less than 5 cm of material, Rc at most 1.3); and single, old double or HR glass with Ug at least 1.6. Rc describes the thermal resistance of the whole component; Ug describes heat passing through glass. These are the source’s tests for the existing home, distinct from the required performance of the new material.
  • The floor being improved must itself be poorly insulated. Have a building or installation company insulate at least 20 m² of an existing floor, on its upper or lower side. The incorporated ISDE conditions fund at most 130 m². The new material alone must have an Rd value of at least 3.5 m²K/W: this measures its resistance to heat flow, and existing insulation cannot be added to reach it. Locally sprayed PIR or PUR must use HFK-free blowing agents.
  • This route covers homes without monument status. The home must have been built before 1 January 2019, or its construction permit must have been applied for before 1 July 2018. Work on an extension or an area demolished and rebuilt is excluded. Check the RVO material-code list and required thickness before purchase; UF foam is excluded from subsidy from 1 April 2026.
  • You can claim only once per dwelling for the floor measure. Under the municipal rules, choose between floor insulation and insulation laid on the ground beneath it. The work must not add a new element instead of replacing an outdated measure, and must not be readily reversible. The municipality may refuse work whose costs are disproportionate to the result or which does not serve the scheme’s purpose.
  • This route covers floor work without potential disturbance of protected animals’ resting or nesting places. Check this before work. Where disturbance is possible, the national nature-friendly insulation guideline is mandatory: a suitable company lets animals leave before insulation, respects breeding and hibernation periods, provides replacement habitat and registers the home.

Apply through Regionaal Energieloket. If you received a municipal letter, enter your postcode, house number and unique housing code in the insulation portal and choose the selected-company route or the claim route for your own contractor. If you have no letter but meet the conditions, email Samen1Nergie at samen1nergie@1stroom.nl to enter the scheme. For help, call 088 525 41 10 during office hours.

For a claim after contractor work in 2026, submit within 24 months of execution. Keep photos before and after the work, plus a photo during installation showing that it took place at your address. Supply your name, address and contact details, proof of payment, the contractor’s quotation showing costs, net area and insulation values, and itemised invoices identifying eligible costs and the execution date. The incorporated technical requirements also call for the material code, type, thickness and installed area on the supporting documents.

For the selected-company route, provide at least your name, address, contact details and information about the home. For the invoice claim, include the contractor or supplier’s address and the contractor contact’s name and telephone number.
