Solar panel loan
A consumer loan for individuals buying and installing solar panels, with up to €25,000 when applying alone or €40,000 with a co-applicant.

Borrow from SEB and repay the loan with interest over six months to seven years. The loan does not require collateral: you do not need to pledge property as security.
The fixed annual interest rate is 4.9% when you use the money to buy and install solar panels and take SEB loan protection insurance with the loan. Insurance premiums and the current-account monthly fee add to the cost.
The standard agreement fee is 1% of the loan amount, with a €75 minimum. For agreements concluded from 1 October to 31 December 2026, the advertised agreement fee is €0 for all loan purposes. The separate promotional interest rates for renovation and car purchases do not apply to solar-panel purchases.
You can repay all or part of the loan early without a contractual fee if you notify SEB ten days in advance.
Eligibility
- SEB assesses your ability to repay from your income and existing obligations; the advertised maximum is not a guaranteed loan amount.
- You and any co-borrower must have a current account at SEB by the day you sign and keep it throughout the loan period. SEB may require your entire income to be paid into that account and your payments to go through SEB.
- If you borrow together, each borrower is responsible for repaying the entire loan.
- Use the money to buy and install solar panels. If you use it for another purpose, the interest rate rises to 14%.

Contact your local government to check solar-panel installation requirements, restrictions and grid-connection requirements.
Apply through the consumer-loan application on SEB’s solar-panel loan page and select “Purchase of solar panels”. SEB will contact you with a proposal or further questions; after a positive decision, sign the agreement in the Internet Bank.
Send the purchase document proving that you bought solar panels to laenudokumendid@seb.ee within 90 days.
