Water-saving equipment grant
Residents of Les Avant-Monts can receive a purchase grant for rainwater tanks serving their main home.

The rainwater route helps you collect water for outdoor uses such as watering a garden or washing outdoor areas and equipment. Above-ground and underground tanks qualify, with no minimum capacity. Where possible, place the tank behind the home or out of sight.
The grant pays €30 per above-ground tank, for up to two tanks per home (€60 in total), without exceeding their purchase value. An underground tank receives €60. Only the equipment purchase price qualifies: labour and separately purchased stands or connection kits are excluded. The award is paid into your bank account after assessment.
Eligibility
You must live in Les Avant-Monts and be an individual who owns, rents or occupies free of charge the main home where the tank will be installed. Tenants and people living there free of charge need the owner’s agreement. Aid is awarded only once per dwelling.
The home must be in one of these 25 communes: Abeilhan, Autignac, Cabrerolles, Causses et Veyran, Caussiniojouls, Faugères, Fos, Fouzilhon, Gabian, Laurens, Magalas, Margon, Montesquieu, Murviel-lès-Béziers, Neffiès, Pailhès, Pouzolles, Puimisson, Puissalicon, Roquessels, Roujan, Saint-Geniès de Fontedit, Saint-Nazaire de Ladarez, Thézan-lès-Béziers, Vailhan.
Buy from a partner seller: M. Bricolage, Peris or Magne in ZAE L’Audacieuse, Magalas; Peris at 27 avenue de la République, Murviel-lès-Béziers; Big Mat Moreno matériaux at 10–12 rue du Pont Second, Roujan; or Matériaux modernes (underground tank) or Weldom in ZAE Les Masselettes, Thézan-lès-Béziers. Your invoice must be dated after 1 January 2024.

Use the 2026 application dossier and sign the request letter in Annex 1. Include the dated invoice showing the supplier, payment date and your name; proof of address less than three months old; bank account details (RIB); and the owner’s permission if you rent or occupy the home free of charge.

Applications are accepted until the dedicated budget runs out and assessed in order of arrival. The rules give a one-month assessment period, followed by written or emailed approval in principle and a bank transfer. If documents are missing, you have one month from receiving the request to supply them.
