Green loan

National Bank of GreeceGreciafino a 30K EUR

Borrow up to €30,000 for home energy improvements, energy-saving appliances or a new electric or hybrid vehicle.

Questa opportunità è attualmente disponibile in inglese.

The loan can pay for insulation, replacement windows, solar heating, photovoltaics, green roofs and home geothermal or wind systems. Other listed uses include A+ appliances, cooling and shading systems, rainwater collectors and home bio-waste treatment. The offer also covers boiler or water-heater replacement and natural-gas installation. New electric cars, hybrid cars, electric motorcycles, bicycles and scooters, and their smart home charging points are eligible.

The bank pays the approved loan into your account after you sign the contract. You repay the money and interest in monthly instalments from an NBG deposit account, starting one month after payout. The repayment range is 12–48 months for borrowing up to €6,000, 12–72 months for the stated €6,000–€15,000 band and 12–84 months above €15,000.

The tariff updated on 8 October 2026 lists three-month Euribor plus a fixed margin of 4 percentage points. Euribor is the variable reference rate: changes affect your monthly instalments, and a negative Euribor is treated as zero. The normal statutory levy is another 0.60 percentage points; exemptions include permanent residents of islands with fewer than 3,100 inhabitants. The one-off charge is €95. You pay a €22 review fee when applying, which is deducted from that charge if approved.

You may repay all or part of the loan early without an extra charge. Overdue principal, interest and charges incur the applicable default interest, currently 2.5 percentage points above the contractual rate, plus the statutory levy. The agreement may provide further penalties.
