EnergySense rebates
Cooperative members can receive $500 per qualifying integrated electric heat-pump water heater installed on Polk-Burnett’s lines.

EnergySense supports energy conservation. Its heat-pump water-heater rebate pays $500 for each qualifying unit, without exceeding the cost of that water heater. Polk-Burnett approves the claim and sends a rebate check 6–10 weeks after approval.
Eligibility
You must be a Polk-Burnett member, and the water heater must be installed on the cooperative’s lines. The form covers residential homes, seasonal cabins, farms, commercial or industrial premises, and institutions or government premises.
The electric heat-pump water heater must be an integrated, all-in-one unit with a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) of 2.20 or greater. Check the unit’s equipment specifications for this efficiency rating. You must buy it new and install it in 2026. Call Polk-Burnett to arrange an appointment to verify its installation.
Rebates are available through December 31, 2026, or until funds run out. The cooperative may change or cancel the programme without notice.

- Buy new equipment and install it in 2026. Submit within three months of purchase and no later than January 1, 2027, whichever comes first.

Download the 2026 water-heater rebate form and complete the customer and equipment sections. Include your account number and location number from the upper right corner of your electric bill, and a copy of a dated, detailed receipt or invoice for each purchased item.
Call Polk-Burnett on 800-421-0283 or 715-646-2191, extension 595, to arrange the installation-verification appointment. Send the form and supporting receipt or invoice to Polk-Burnett, 1001 State Road 35, Centuria, WI 54824, or fax them to 715-646-2404.
