Questa opportunità è attualmente disponibile in inglese.

RørosBanken lends money for a home you own or plan to buy with energy rating A or B. You repay the mortgage, with interest and fees.

The green tariff covers lending up to 90% of the home’s value. Its nominal interest rate starts at 5.40%. The payment-period fee is NOK60, the establishment fee starts at NOK1,950, and postponing a payment costs NOK500. The bank’s example of NOK2 million over 25 years has an effective rate of 5.60% and a total repayment of NOK3,669,730; this illustrates borrowing costs rather than a guaranteed personal offer.

With a serial loan, repayment of the borrowed amount stays the same while interest falls as the debt shrinks. With an annuity loan, the payment is level and a growing share repays the debt. If an interest-only period is agreed, you pay interest and fees while postponing repayment of the borrowed amount.

Eligibility

  • You must own or be buying a home with energy rating A or B. For a purchase, the rating is in the sales prospectus; owners can look it up through the energy-rating service described on the bank’s product page.
  • The bank assesses your ability to repay using your income, existing debt and family situation.
  • You normally contribute 10% of the purchase price yourself. The bank’s general mortgage rules permit up to 100% financing with additional security, such as security in another property or a guarantor. The published green tariff itself covers lending only up to 90%; the extra-security exception does not promise green pricing above that limit.
