Green mortgage for an A/B-rated home
A mortgage for individuals buying or financing a home with energy rating A or B.
Questa opportunità è attualmente disponibile in inglese.
You can use Selbu Sparebank’s ordinary green mortgage for a home with energy rating A or B, including when buying a home or moving an existing mortgage to the bank.
The published lending limit is 90% of the home’s appraised value or valuation basis. The current tariff lists nominal interest from 5.49%. Its representative example has an effective rate of 5.69%, which includes loan costs: an annuity loan of NOK 2.5 million repaid over 25 years, with a stated total cost of NOK 4,516,014. In an annuity repayment plan, your instalments pay interest and reduce the amount you owe. The example is not a promised loan amount or repayment period.
The setup fee, including the depot fee for administering security documents, is NOK 4,500, and the instalment fee is NOK 60. Registering security in real property or a housing-cooperative home costs NOK 545. The tariff lists NOK 1,000 for a payment postponement or skipped payment; that fee does not itself promise a right to postpone payments. Prices are subject to changes and errors in the tariff.
Eligibility
- Your home must have energy rating A or B for the route described here. Check which of these letter ratings the home has; this entry covers homes that already have one of those ratings.
- The bank’s main borrowing rule is five times your annual income. Its mortgage guidance says you need 10% own funds or a guarantor, someone who backs your borrowing. If you lack sufficient own funds, a bank adviser considers your individual situation.
