Energy and climate subsidies — battery storage
A grant covers 30% of the purchase price of a renewable-connected storage battery in Aigle, up to CHF 1,500, for individuals and legal entities liable for the municipal electricity tax.
Denne finansieringsmuligheten er foreløpig beskrevet på engelsk.
This route within the municipal energy and climate programme supports a storage battery connected to an installation producing renewable electricity. The grant is calculated on the battery’s purchase price.
Payment follows completion, a final account with receipts or invoices, and an on-site final inspection if needed. Subject to those requirements, payment is due within 60 days of completion.
Eligibility
- You must be an individual or legal entity subject to Aigle’s specific electricity tax, and the project must be within the municipality.
- This direct municipal route is for projects not covered by other bodies.
- The project must not merely fulfil a legal obligation. Awards depend on priorities and available fund resources; there is no entitlement to a grant.
- Each subsidy type is available only once per building and per owner or organisation.
- If combined aid exceeds the actual value of the works, the municipal grant is reduced by the excess. The municipality may wait for a required building permit before deciding.
- The municipality may request further evidence, inspect the site or verify documents. Its commitment expires after two years. Notify it of any change of building owner during the award’s validity.
- Acknowledge the Fonds énergétique durable in public communications about the project.
- The municipality cancels or reduces the grant, or requires full or partial repayment, if it was awarded unduly, the funded work is not performed correctly, award conditions are breached or funds are misused. Its recovery claim expires three years after it learns the grounds, and at the latest ten years after the claim arises.
