Energy efficiency appliance rebates
Electric-bill credits help cooperative members in northeast Iowa buy qualifying new ENERGY STAR appliances.

The rebate is a credit on your electric bill. Qualifying new ENERGY STAR clothes washers, dryers, dehumidifiers and dishwashers receive $25 each. ENERGY STAR refrigerators and freezers also receive $25 each, provided they hold at least 10 cubic feet.
An all-in-one washer/dryer receives $50 if it is ENERGY STAR certified and uses ventless heat-pump drying. Each purchase rebate is limited to the cost of that appliance.
Eligibility
You must be an Allamakee-Clayton Electric Cooperative member. The form covers residential, farm, commercial, industrial and institution/government members. The new appliance must be electric and used on the cooperative’s electricity lines.
The cooperative serves parts of Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Winneshiek, Chickasaw, Bremer, Delaware and Dubuque counties in northeast Iowa; being elsewhere in Iowa does not establish eligibility.

Complete the 2026 appliance incentive form. Include a receipt or invoice for each item, with its purchase price and purchase date circled, and its ENERGY STAR label. Submit the documents within three months of the purchase date.
Email the documents to rwagner@acrec.coop or post them to Allamakee-Clayton Electric Cooperative, PO Box 715, Postville, IA 52162-0715. The 2026 incentives run through December 31, subject to limited funds, so submit promptly.
