Electric van charging infrastructure grant
Grants help businesses registered in Bergen install or upgrade charging infrastructure for their own electric vans.
Deze mogelijkheid is momenteel in het Engels beschikbaar.
The grant covers up to 30% of approved costs, limited to NOK 15,000 for each charging point enabled and a maximum of ten points per business. External advice and design costs can be included.
For business parking, funding covers the fixed infrastructure needed for charging, rather than the individual charger. Transformer upgrades are excluded. You can also apply for charging for company vans at employees’ homes: in that case, the charger itself is included within the NOK 15,000 per-point limit.
The grant is paid after the work is completed, to the account specified in your application.
Eligibility
- Your business or sole proprietorship must be registered in Bergen municipality and in the Norwegian Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities (Brønnøysundregisteret). Individuals, state building owners, municipal actors, housing cooperatives or condominium associations, and parking companies cannot apply.
- The charging stations must serve your business’s own vans. Supply the vehicle registration numbers with the application or completion report. If you plan to buy electric vans, describe this in the application.
- Apply and receive approval from Bergen municipality’s Bymiljøetaten department before ordering materials or services or signing supplier contracts. You may contact an external adviser to investigate the electrical system before applying.
- The support is for fixed installations your business owns. If you rent parking spaces, you may apply on the owner’s behalf with written consent. The landowner must own the infrastructure, and your agreement must address the division of the grant, costs, rent and termination.
- For installations at employees’ homes, agree with your employees what happens to ownership of the charging point if employment ends or similar circumstances arise. If your business has received other support to establish a home charging point, it cannot receive this municipal grant for that same point.
