Borrow for energy improvements to property you own and occupy or rent out, without registering a charge against the property.

Finance solar photovoltaic or solar-thermal systems, building insulation, new windows or exterior doors, heating replacement, basement-ceiling insulation, ventilation systems or connection to a building or heat network.
Kreissparkasse Ravensburg lends €5,000–€100,000 over an agreed term of 1–15 years. You repay the borrowed money and the agreed interest over that term. The interest depends on your creditworthiness and the term you choose, and stays fixed for the entire term. The bank does not require a land charge as security, so no charge is entered against your property in the land register. KreditSchutz insurance is optional.
You can apply after renovation has started and combine the loan with currently available BAFA and KfW grants.
Eligibility
You must be an adult property owner with regular income and a positive SCHUFA credit record, which the bank uses to assess your credit history. Approval depends on creditworthiness. The property may be occupied by you or rented out.
You need a concrete offer or cost quotation for the work. If you are new to the Sparkasse, you also need evidence of your salary. The bank’s online offer is addressed exclusively to people resident in Germany.
