Mei minder stien, mear grien

Gemeente WaadhoekeHolandiado 500 EUR

Up to €500 for private homeowners in Waadhoeke to install underground rainwater storage.

Ta możliwość jest obecnie dostępna po angielsku.

You can receive reimbursement of material and installation costs for underground rainwater storage. Collecting rainwater helps address the pressures of heavy rainfall and climate change.

The rainwater-storage payment is capped at €500 per address. Across the programme, you can apply once per address per year, with a total annual limit of €1,000 including VAT. Each measure can receive support only once during the programme.

Eligibility

  • You must legally own the home, and the home must be in the municipality of Waadhoeke. The work must improve an existing property; new-build projects are excluded.
  • The supported storage system must be something other than a rain barrel. Garden depressions (wadis) and ponds follow a separate route requiring agreement from the municipality before work starts.
  • The municipality must receive your application within four weeks after the work is completed. Include photographs taken before and after the work and purchase receipts for materials and work.
  • Describe the work and its aims, provide its costs and financing plan, and disclose other subsidies or payments requested for the same work and their status.

The municipality can refuse support if the work does not sufficiently benefit Waadhoeke or its residents, or if you have not shown why the subsidy is needed. It can also refuse an application that fails the rules, breaches the law or does not fit municipal subsidy policy. It may refuse if the need is already met by an institution receiving annual municipal budget subsidies and that policy applies to the proposed work. Any required European Commission approval must be in place before support can be granted.

Notify the municipality immediately in writing if you expect the funded work or grant duties not to be fulfilled fully or on time, or if the activities end or relevant financial relations with others change. Follow the duties in your award.

Keep evidence of the funded work for at least five years after completion; the municipality can check during that period and may revoke or change the award under the applicable law. If the municipality does not make the grant final when awarding it, show that the work and duties were completed and provide an activity and financial report, subject to the municipality’s requested documents.
