Energy and mobility grant — heat pump
A €200 grant for energy customers installing a new heat pump in a residential or non-residential building in the Willich service area.

This route supports a monovalent heat pump: a heat pump that supplies the building’s heat on its own. Split air-conditioning units are excluded. The building must be in the Stadtwerke Willich supply area and the Willich catchment area.
Eligibility
- Existing customers whose entire energy demand is supplied by Stadtwerke Willich, and new customers, can apply.
- Apply before ordering or carrying out the work. A licensed specialist installer must install the new heat-generating system.
- Taking the grant commits you to having your entire energy demand supplied by Stadtwerke Willich for two years. You must repay the grant if the heat pump is not supplied continuously by Stadtwerke Willich for at least 24 months from commissioning.
- Only one subsidy per property per year is permitted. There is no legal entitlement: funding depends on an eligibility check and available budget.

- Applications must be made before ordering or implementing the measure. Funding ends earlier if the budget is exhausted.[^c4][^c5]
Apply through the Stadtwerke Willich funding form and select “Förderung für Wärmepumpe”. Submit the required information and documents in full. If the installer’s offer is not yet available, the form allows you to send it later.
