Sustainable Energy Production and Climate Transition Incentive (SDE++)

Netherlands Enterprise AgencyPaíses Baixosaté 8 mM EURabre 27/10/2026

A Dutch subsidy for companies and nonprofit organizations that will operate large-scale renewable-energy or low-carbon production installations.

Esta oportunidade está atualmente disponível em inglês.

SDE++ supports renewable electricity, renewable heat, renewable gas, low-carbon heat and low-carbon production. The 2026 round has an €8 billion programme budget and five application phases. If applications received on one day exceed the budget, RVO ranks those projects by a calculated euro-per-tonne-of-CO₂ figure. RVO calls this subsidy intensity; it depends on the amount applied for, the long-term price and the category's emission factor.

Eligibility

Only the intended producer may apply: your organization must plan to commission and operate the installation itself. Check the technical category requirements and secure the required permits before applying.

Do not place an irreversible order or begin building the production installation before applying. The same installation cannot also receive ISDE, EIA or SCE support, apart from the scheme's stated exception for certain older solar projects' grid connections.

  • The scheme is not yet open; draft applications can be prepared online about two weeks before opening.

Choose the relevant technical category and use RVO's tool to calculate the euro-per-tonne-of-CO₂ figure. This shows the first phase in which the project can apply. Gather the category-specific attachments and permits, then submit through RVO's digital system during the 2026 round using eHerkenning level 3 with authorization for RVO services at eH3, or DigiD.
