Home energy efficiency loan
Borrow without collateral for household solar power, heat pumps, wind turbines, electricity storage or electric-car charging equipment, with loan limits based on individual or family income.

You can finance a solar installation, a share of a remote solar installation, a heat pump, a wind turbine, a battery for generated electricity or electric-vehicle charging equipment. Air conditioners used only for cooling are excluded.
This is a consumer loan: you repay SEB with interest. The fixed annual interest rate starts at 4.9%, and the repayment term is from one to seven years. You do not need collateral or a down payment. There is no monthly loan administration fee, and early repayment is free.
The contract fee is 1.5% of the loan amount, with a minimum of EUR 50. SEB also lists a minimum basic bank-services fee of EUR 1 per month. Other environmentally friendly purchases use a separate loan purpose with rates starting at 7.9%.
Eligibility
- You must be an adult Lithuanian citizen or hold a permit for permanent residence in Lithuania, and receive regular income. SEB accepts wages and documented regular income from copyright agreements, business activity, renting property and other sources.
- If SEB assesses one person’s income, the loan range is EUR 4,000–25,000. If it assesses family income, the range is EUR 500–40,000. SEB evaluates your ability to repay; monthly repayments to all credit institutions should not exceed 40% of your monthly net income.
- Use the whole loan for its stated purpose. SEB may request documents proving this. If you use it for another purpose or fail to provide the requested documents, SEB may increase the annual interest rate on the whole loan to 14%.

Apply through the consumer-loan application on SEB Lithuania’s official offer page and select “Improving home energy efficiency” (“Namų energiniam efektyvumui gerinti”). The page has routes for existing customers and people who are not yet SEB customers. SEB will contact you with an offer or further questions. If approved, sign the agreement in SEB’s internet bank.
