Greenify loan

Cara Credit UnionIrelandup to 100k EUR

Borrow for home energy upgrades, an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, or charging equipment if you are a Cara Credit Union member or can join its local membership area.

Greenify Home covers renovations from small upgrades to a deep retrofit, including wall and attic insulation, insulated doors, heat pumps, heat recovery, heating controls, solar panels, thermal upgrades and boiler replacement. Greenify Transport covers electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids and electric-vehicle chargers.

You can borrow up to €100,000. Home loans can run for up to ten years and transport loans for up to five years. Any loan below €15,000 has a maximum five-year term.

You repay the loan with interest. Both product calculators illustrate a 5.6% interest rate; their repayments are approximate and do not constitute a loan offer. Monthly repayments may increase. Interest is calculated on the outstanding balance, so the interest amount falls as you repay the loan. Cara Credit Union states that there are no fees or penalties for repaying a loan early.

For a car loan, you own the vehicle straight away rather than leasing it or buying through hire purchase.
