A grant of up to €1,800 helps homeowners install solar panels that generate electricity for their home. The amount depends on the size of the system.
Attic insulation grant
A grant helps homeowners and landlords insulate an existing home’s attic. Standard amounts range from €1,100 to €2,000 by dwelling type, with higher rates for eligible first-time buyers and homeowners receiving qualifying welfare payments.
Wall insulation grant
Grants help individual homeowners and landlords insulate cavity walls or add insulation to the inside or outside of external walls. Amounts depend on the insulation method and dwelling type.
Windows and doors grant
Grants help individual homeowners and landlords replace inefficient windows or external doors in an existing home. Apply for windows, doors or both; insulation requirements must be met before payment.
Heat pump systems grant
Grants help individual homeowners and landlords replace an older heating system with a heat pump. The amount depends on the technology, dwelling type and whether the work qualifies for central-heating support and a renewable-heat bonus.
Heating controls grant
A €700 grant helps individual homeowners and landlords upgrade heating controls so they can schedule home heating and hot water separately.
Solar water heating grant
A €1,200 grant helps individual homeowners and landlords install a solar thermal system that uses the sun’s energy to heat water for the home.
Electric Vehicle Home Charger Grant
Up to €300 towards buying and installing a registered smart EV home charger in Ireland, for private individuals with eligible parking arrangements.
Support Scheme for Energy Audits
A €2,000 voucher for eligible Irish businesses and public bodies to identify energy-saving improvements through a professional audit.
SSRH Heat Pump Installation Grant
Up to €1 million per project for non-domestic renewable heating in Ireland, with support for heat pumps, industrial steam recovery, direct geothermal heating and related efficiency measures.
EXEED Design and Feasibility Grant
Up to 50% of eligible external design and study fees for major non-domestic energy projects in Ireland, with a separate 30% route for projects using SEAI’s alternative delivery assessment.
EXEED Grant for Energy Equipment and Building Upgrades

Energy Contracting Support: Grant for Project Advice

Electric Car Purchase Grant
Up to €3,500 off a qualifying new fully electric passenger car bought for private use and registered for the first time in Ireland.
Electric Van Purchase Grant

Electric Motorcycle and Moped Grant

Access Advice: GreenStart
A grant of up to €5,000 towards external consultancy that helps eligible Irish businesses plan emissions cuts and improve environmental management.
GreenPlus
Up to €50,000 for eligible Irish companies to train staff in environmental management, emissions reduction and climate resilience, including supported staff training time.
Energy Monitoring and Tracking Systems Grant
Grants of €5,000 to €50,000 towards new metering hardware that helps eligible manufacturing companies measure energy use and reduce emissions.
Energy Efficiency Grant
Small Irish enterprises can fund energy-efficient equipment and resource-saving systems recommended by an eligible energy or environmental review.
