The Nordic Development Fund finances climate and development activities with a focus on lower-income countries and countries in fragile situations, including small island developing states. Its country-focus policy refers to OECD development-assistance income categories and World Bank and OECD fragility frameworks; its portfolio includes Africa, Asia and Latin America. It also hosts and manages EEP Africa, which provides grants and repayable grants for clean-energy projects in Southern and Eastern Africa.
