Energy-efficiency rebates
Residential electricity members can receive up to $50 per new ENERGY STAR smart thermostat, for up to two thermostats at their address.

This entry covers the smart-thermostat rebate within Callaway Electric Cooperative’s energy-efficiency rebates. You can install a qualifying ENERGY STAR listed smart thermostat with any type of heating or cooling system, in a new home or to replace an existing manual or programmable thermostat.
The cooperative pays up to $50 per thermostat, capped at 50% of that unit’s cost. The limit is two rebates per address, giving a maximum of $100 for two qualifying units.
Eligibility
- You must be a residential member in good standing with Callaway Electric Cooperative, which serves rural Callaway and southern Montgomery counties in Missouri.
- Install the thermostat at a site supplied by the cooperative. That service must buy more than 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity from the cooperative each year.
- The thermostat must be new and ENERGY STAR listed. Previously owned, mislabeled or misrepresented equipment does not qualify.
- You agree to let the cooperative control your heating and cooling equipment now or in the future through its load-control programmes. The cooperative may inspect the equipment and its installation.

After purchasing and installing the thermostat, complete and sign the paper thermostat rebate application. Include your cooperative account number and a copy of the original dated sales receipt. Use a separate application for each installation site; incomplete applications are not processed.
Submit the completed application and receipt to Callaway Electric Cooperative within 90 days of purchase. Its mailing address is PO Box 250, Fulton, MO 65251, and its telephone number is 573-642-3326.
Allow 6–8 weeks for processing. The cooperative can change the qualifications or amounts and end the programme at any time without notice.
