Charging infrastructure grant
A €300 grant towards a wallbox or charging pillar in Lichtenfels for private individuals and private-law legal entities with a Korb.Strom electricity contract.

Buy and install a wallbox or charging pillar in the city of Lichtenfels. Stadtwerke Lichtenfels pays the €300 grant as €75 credits on your annual electricity bill for up to four years.
Awards depend on available funds and the utility’s decision; applying does not give you a right to support. Unpaid bills under the relevant supply contracts may be deducted from the grant.
Eligibility
- You must be a natural person or a legal entity governed by private law. At application, you must already buy Korb.Strom from Stadtwerke Lichtenfels or conclude a Korb.Strom contract. New customers can receive approval only once supply begins.
- The wallbox or charging pillar must be in the city of Lichtenfels and have the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity needed for mandatory registration with the network operator. Public charging pillars operated and billed by Stadtwerke Lichtenfels are excluded.
- Register the charging equipment with the network operator. Connections above 4.6 kVA must use three phases. Under VDE-AR-N 4100, charging equipment counts as a continuous-current installation: the electrical system, including the meter position, must be sized accordingly. You may use the normal consumption meter (Module 1) or a separate meter (Module 2). For residential buildings, DIN 18015 also applies, and the requirements of the Building Electromobility Infrastructure Act (GEIG) must be taken into account.
- Support is withdrawn if obtained through false information. If you terminate the relevant Korb.Strom contract within one year of the utility receiving your application, the grant is withdrawn and the annual €75 credit is reclaimed.

Complete the official charging-infrastructure application form and submit it to Stadtwerke Lichtenfels, Eichenweg 15, 96215 Lichtenfels. Include proof of purchase and installation and the commissioning report from a registered electrical installation firm.
