Borrow for insulation, new windows, solar panels or efficient heating in a property you own, with fixed monthly repayments.
Volksbank Niederrhein eG lends money for energy improvements such as photovoltaic panels, battery storage, solar thermal systems, replacement heating including heat pumps, insulation, and replacement windows or external doors. The bank subsidises the loan relative to its usual terms, and you can combine it with state support.
The loan is available after approval. You repay the money borrowed, with interest, in equal monthly instalments over an agreed fixed term, with interest certainty throughout that term. The bank adapts the monthly payment to your situation.
The advertised annual borrowing rate is 4.40% (4.49% effective) for terms up to 10 years, and 5.36% (5.49% effective) for the stated 10–15-year band.
Eligibility
You must provide proof that you own the property and a quotation from the tradesperson carrying out the work.
Residual-credit insurance, which covers specified repayment risks, is optional. You do not have to take it out to obtain the loan.
